Fortnightly Wednesdays at the Hornbeam in Walthamstow (1st + 3rd of each month): making seasonal remedies with our herb harvests from the gardens, learning & knowledge-sharing across cultures, exchanging health and wellbeing stories, journeys, support and care, eating nourishing food together.
Join the morning session 11am-1pm - usually a mix of herb processing & medicine making with our herbalists Rasheeqa, Odhran & Jayne, ‘Yuyos’ immersive Spanish-infused cultural herbalism of the world with Carla of Stripey Spanish (3rd Weds of the month), sharing circles, hanging out & chatting, reading and learning.
We share lunch together 1-2pm - we provide food like bread, hummus, home-cooked seasonal offerings (soup, stew, curry, salad), fruits - you are welcome to bring something to add to the table.
Apothecary shop open 2-4pm - a wide range of communally-grown, collectively-made remedies including dried herbs (dozens of different ones from gardens & local lands), topical balms/creams, infused oils, herbal vinegars, tinctures, syrups.
